Slide On Vans Australia provides warranty coverage on workmanship and selected components supplied as part of our custom-built slide-on camper units. This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
1. Structural warranty
We provide a structural warranty covering defects in workmanship and structural integrity of the camper body for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects arising under normal recreational use conditions.
The structural warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect
- Overloading beyond vehicle payload or GVM limits
- Improper installation or removal not carried out by approved personnel
- Unauthorised modifications
- Damage caused by impact, collision or extreme off-road use beyond reasonable touring conditions
2. Component warranties
Individual components supplied with the camper (such as electrical systems, appliances, pumps, batteries and air conditioning units) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to that product.
Warranty periods and conditions for these components are determined by the original manufacturer and may vary.
We will assist customers in coordinating warranty claims with component manufacturers where required.
3. Electrical systems
Electrical installations are covered against defects in workmanship for 12 months from delivery.
Battery systems, inverters and other electrical hardware are subject to their respective manufacturer warranties.
Damage caused by incorrect usage, external modification or water ingress due to misuse is not covered.
4. Water ingress and sealing
All campers are sealed and tested prior to delivery. Warranty coverage applies to defects resulting from manufacturing error.
Regular inspection and maintenance of seals is the responsibility of the owner. Failure to maintain seals may void coverage for water-related issues.
5. Owner responsibilities
To maintain warranty validity, owners must:
- Operate within vehicle payload and GVM limits
- Maintain the camper in reasonable condition
- Inspect seals and external fittings periodically
- Use the camper for intended recreational purposes
6. Claims process
If you believe you have a warranty claim, please contact us with:

7. Limitations
Warranty does not cover:

- Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect function
- Damage caused by improper storage
- Damage from third-party installations or modifications
8. Australian consumer law
